Program: Beta Sigma Phi offers life, learning and friendship. The programs are about the learning. We always try to learn something new each time we meet. Sometimes it’s a hobby and sometimes it’s a skill. Sometimes it’s about a current issue or sometimes it’s about something from long ago. Sometimes we listen and sometimes we participate. Sometimes we learn about ourselves and each other. The different kinds of things that we explore are only limited by our own imagination.

Way and Means: One of the things we like to do is help others. One way we do that is by donating money or buying things to donate. To donate money, first, we have a lot of fun raising it. Some of the things we’ve done to raise money are:

Raffles Fudge Sales Holiday Gift-Wrapping Home parties featuring: - Partylite - Tupperware - Epicure - Pampered Chef

Service: We enjoying helping others and it always leaves us with a good feeling. Sometimes it’s a local thing or sometimes it’s about something far away. Sometimes we contribute our time as well as giving things or money. Some of the places we’ve donated the money to are:

- MS Christmas party
- Tsunami relief
- Harmony House
- Emily Murphy Non-Profit Housing Corp
- Doctors Without Borders

We’ve donated many hours of our time to things like:

- Selling daffodils for Cancer Society
- Walking in the MS Super Cities Walk and Run for the Cure
- Manning beer stores for the Christmas Exchange “Running On Empties"
- Cleaning up local parks for "Cleaning Up the Capitol"
- Earth Hour

Social: Each year we have a wide range of social activities, some with just the girls, some with our families and other friends and others with Beta Sigma Phi sisters across the city.

Some of our activities require energy and for others, none at all. Some have us exploring what the area has to offer and for others, we just stay in.
